Shearwater Research Teric Wrist Dive Computer with Transmitter
Shearwater Research Teric Wrist Dive Computer with Transmitter
The Shearwater Teric Wrist Dive Computer with Transmitter combines Shearwater's full-featured recreational and technical dive computer with wireless air integration in a compact wrist-watch format. This package includes the wireless pressure transmitter, allowing you to monitor tank pressure directly on the Teric's bright color display.
The Teric features a brilliant 1.39-inch full-color AMOLED display with 400 x 400 resolution. Its vivid, high-contrast screen makes critical dive information easy to see underwater, while the sapphire crystal window and 316 stainless-steel bezel and buttons provide rugged protection for serious diving.
For divers who need additional wrist room, the Teric uses a 22 mm strap system with an extender included. Shearwater also provides a Remora webbing strap designed for use over a drysuit, giving divers additional flexibility when a conventional watch-style strap isn't long enough.
Wireless Air Integration
This package includes a compatible wireless pressure transmitter, allowing the Teric to display real-time tank pressure directly on the computer.
When configured with the included transmitter, the Teric can also calculate Gas Time Remaining (GTR) for the assigned tank, bringing important gas-management information onto the same easy-to-read display as your other dive data.
With current firmware, the Teric supports up to four compatible transmitters, providing additional flexibility for more advanced diving configurations.
Wireless pressure transmitter included with this package.
The Teric supports recreational and technical diving including Air, Nitrox, 5-Gas Nitrox, OC Technical Trimix, Closed Circuit/Bailout, Gauge and Freediving modes. It uses the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm with configurable Gradient Factors.
A built-in 3-axis, tilt-compensated digital compass provides underwater navigation, while configurable audible and vibration alerts provide multiple ways to receive important notifications during a dive.
Bluetooth connectivity allows communication with Shearwater Cloud for dive-log downloads, firmware updates and dive-data management.

Why FGSS Likes It for Larger Divers
The Teric proves that choosing a watch-style dive computer doesn't have to mean settling for a tiny display or restrictive wrist fit. Its brilliant AMOLED screen provides excellent readability, while the included strap extender and drysuit webbing strap provide additional flexibility for larger wrists and bulky exposure protection.
The included transmitter makes this package particularly attractive because tank pressure and Gas Time Remaining can be displayed directly on the Teric, giving the diver important information on one highly readable screen.
For larger divers who want a sophisticated computer that can transition from recreational diving into considerably more advanced diving, the Teric is one of our favorite choices.
FGSS Owner's Note
The Teric isn't just a computer we sell — it's the dive computer I personally use.
I appreciate its bright, easy-to-read display, intuitive controls and the amount of information it gives me without making the screen difficult to understand. The flexible strap options are another important advantage, especially for divers who need more room than a conventional watch-style strap provides.
When we're recommending equipment based on real-world usability rather than simply what's printed on a specification sheet, the Teric is a computer I can recommend from personal experience.
