Before ordering

Tank weights are mostly about trim and weight distribution. Moving a few pounds off your waist or out of your BCD pockets and onto the cylinder can change how you sit in the water and take some load off your hips. Before you buy, check the product page for how the weights attach, which cylinder sizes they fit, and whether they work with your cam bands. Decide how much weight you want to move rather than adding extra on top of what you already carry. Three part numbers appear in the specs, and the retailer has listed the 4 lb and 6 lb sizes, so confirm current sizes, pricing and availability before ordering.

FGSS take: If you're fighting feet-down trim or your lower back is doing too much work, tank weights are an easy, inexpensive tool to experiment with. Move a little weight at a time and let your trim tell you when it's right.
