Seasoft Deluxe Padded Mask Case

Quick answer: The Seasoft Deluxe Padded Mask Case protects your dive mask from scratches, cracks and crushing in your gear bag.

Why a padded mask case matters

Finding a mask that fits your face is hard work, especially if you have a wider face, a beard or a prescription lens. Once you find the right one, you want to protect it. Gear bags get tossed on boat decks, packed under tanks and crushed in airline luggage. A hard lens can scratch, a frame can crack and a soft skirt can deform if it's squeezed for too long.

A padded case gives your mask its own protected space, so it comes out of your bag the same shape it went in. It also keeps sunscreen, sand and grit away from the lens between dives.

Who it's for

• Divers who travel with their own gear
• Anyone with a prescription or specialty mask they don't want to replace
• Divers who pack heavy gear bags with BCDs, weights and regulators

Before ordering

Check the retailer’s product details for the case's inside dimensions. Low-volume masks fit most cases easily, but larger frames and wide-view masks may need a roomier case.

FGSS take: A mask that fits is worth protecting. This is an inexpensive way to keep your best-fitting mask ready for the next trip.
