Nokta Makro makes the Nokta PulseDive Scuba Metal Detector – 8" Coil. Pulse induction technology, stable in saltwater, rated to 60m/200ft. Converts between a scuba detector and a handheld pinpointer in seconds. Dive Mode locks the controls so water pressure doesn't trigger buttons. Pulse induction specifically is what makes this usable in salt water at all -- the older VLF detector technology common in cheaper land-based models struggles badly with saltwater's mineral content, so this is a meaningfully different (and better-suited) technology for ocean diving.
